Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026 · Applies to the Prismgrove game on iOS and Android.
Prismgrove ("the game") is made by ReelRiot ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is involved when you play, why, and the choices you have. In short: there is no account or sign-in, we never ask for your name or email, and the game's own code does not send your data anywhere. Optional ads and purchases are handled by the third-party services described below.
1. Information stored on your device
Your progress (glow, crystal levels, piece layouts, stars, Sunstones and settings) is saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. We never receive it. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it. If device backup (iCloud or Android backup) is on, the operating system may include it in your own backup.
2. Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)
Ads play only when you tap a button that offers a reward, such as a free Sunstone. There are no banner or between-level ads. When an ad is requested, Google AdMob may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; Android Advertising ID),
- approximate location derived from your IP address,
- information about the ads you see and interact with, and basic device and app information,
- crash and performance diagnostics from the ad software.
Google uses this to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. On iOS you are asked for permission (App Tracking Transparency) before your advertising identifier can be used. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and other regions where it is required, Google's consent form lets you choose whether ads may be personalised, and you can change that choice at any time in Menu → Ad privacy choices.
Google's use of this data is governed by its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
3. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. The store tells the game which item you bought so it can be delivered and, for the Lantern Pass, restored.
4. What we do not collect
- No names, email addresses, phone numbers or contacts
- No precise location, photos, files, microphone or camera access
- No analytics or crash reports sent to us
5. Your choices and rights (data deletion)
- Delete your game data: use Menu → Erase all progress, uninstall the game, or clear the app's storage. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
- Ad tracking: iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: Settings → Google → Ads, to reset or delete your advertising ID.
- Requests: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA) you may have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Since the game keeps no personal data on our servers, most requests are handled by the services above; email us and we will help you reach them.
- We do not sell personal information. Sharing advertising identifiers with Google for personalised ads may count as "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by declining tracking or personalised ads as described above.
6. Children
Prismgrove is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Security and retention
Data sent by the ad and purchase services travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is kept according to those services' own retention policies. Data on your device stays until you delete it.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the new version of the game is released.
